%%SCHOOLNAME%% & TorchPrep, a Cincinnati-based ACT® test prep company, are working together to help your student unlock college through a great ACT® score. This page reports the results of the practice ACT® test provided to your student by TorchPrep.
The ACT® test is like no other test a student takes:
– It’s incredibly long – just under 4 hours.
– It covers a huge breadth of content – essentially most of your high school education.
– It’s incredibly complex – it’s designed to test how well you can test.
Review the scores below but understand that this is just the beginning. Through practice and strategy a parent can expect their student to significantly improve!
The English test is 75 questions completed in 45 minutes. Hone in on grammar rules, editing techniques, and implementing effective strategy to help you get the score you need!
*Note: The national college readiness benchmark for the English test is 18. Anything lower than this will likely result in the need for remedial courses or no admission at all.
And why is it worth trying to improve your score?
P.S. We’re pros at teaching high school kids the secret strategies on the ACT® test
The ACT® test is the gatekeeper to college admissions. If you don’t get the score they want, they won’t let you in.
Each point left behind on the ACT® test represents thousands of dollars left on the table.
A score should not define a student, but it often does. Improving on the ACT® is a big deal!
The Math test is 60 questions completed in 60 minutes. But don’t let that fool you . . . determining which questions to spend more time on is crucial. Contrary to popular belief, focusing on maximizing your strengths will prove more beneficial than trying to improve your weaknesses.
*Note: The national college readiness benchmark for the Math test is 22. Anything lower than this will likely result in the need for remedial courses or no admission at all.
The Reading test is intense! At 40 questions in 35 minutes, you don’t have time to read every word of the passage and answer every question. Learning to skim and map the passage will maximize your chances for a higher score.
*Note: The national college readiness benchmark for the Reading test is 22. Anything lower than this will likely result in the need for remedial courses or no admission at all.
The Science test may not be the most difficult test, but it’s always the last subject of test day which means staying focused is a fight. This test doesn’t assess your typical science knowledge as much as it rewards your ability to critically analyze data and draw conclusions. At 40 questions in 35 minutes, the Science test requires a clear strategy to be able to finish and put your best foot forward.
*Note: The national college readiness benchmark for the Science test is 23. Anything lower than this will likely result in the need for remedial courses or no admission at all.
As the largest ACT® Test Prep Company in the Midwest, we know a thing or two about training students. We love it and we love influencing their future for good. Just because we are the largest doesn’t mean you lose that one on one feel. Every student matters.
We hate the ACT® test. So why do we do test prep? We care about students and families that are stuck in the standardized testing system. We teach every student they are valuable and safe. We also teach them how to crack the code on this test.
We’re not some Joe Shmoe looking for a side hustle – we’re a team of Freedom Fighters looking to change lives – one test score at a time.
It’s the only reason we’re in business. After training thousands of students in our in-person classroom training, we average an increase of 3 points. Students, believe it or not, also really enjoy our class. So yes, we can and will help you.
You’re gonna like this part. When you join TorchPrep Membership, we guarantee a score increase. If you train with us and you don’t see an increase by the time you graduate high school, we refund your money. It’s that simple.

A better ACT® score is a financial investment, regardless if you’re scoring high, low, or in the middle. It unlocks huge amounts of scholarships, admissions, and avoids paying for high school classes in college.
